PTFE Coated Fiberglass Cover Fiberglass Core Tadpole Gasket is a flexible sealing solution designed for thermal doors, oven covers, dampers, ducts, panel joints, enclosures and applications exposed to temperature changes or chemical environments. The gasket combines a PTFE-coated woven fiberglass cover with a fiberglass rope core. The PTFE coating provides a smooth, chemically resistant outer surface, while the fiberglass core forms the resilient sealing bulb and allows the gasket to compress and conform to uneven mating surfaces. Unlike Tadpole Gaskets developed primarily for extreme high-temperature service, this construction is particularly useful when chemical resistance, flexibility, thermal shock resistance and low-temperature performance are important considerations.
