There is two kinds of fire resistant sleeve for corrugated stainless steel flexible hose.

Fire sleeve - heat protection sleeve
Continuous Protection – protection of hose assemblies, cables and wires at temperatures upto as well as being able to withstand a molten splash at upto 1200ºC – meaning they are ideal for hot environments.
Protects personnel – the properties of the fire protection sleeve mean it is the ideal way to stop those working in industrial environments being exposed to hot pipes and hoses which could potentially lead to burns.
Strength – the sleeve resistant to damage from oils, acids and alkalis and hydraulic fluids.

Fiberglass braided sleeve - heat protection sleeve

The sleeve is made by glass fiber. E-glass fiber sleeve will not burn and resists most acids, alkalis, bleaches and solvents in a wide range of applications including protecting industrial hoses, pipes, and cables. The expandable braided construction allows the sleeve to fit the irregular hoses and fittings. Fiberglass Braided Sleeve can also be coated with binders or other coatings to minimize fray and increase abrasion resistance.
