Heat exposure: State the normal operating temperature, short-duration peaks and whether the tape faces direct contact, radiant heat or hot air. Request the service rating for the exact construction rather than selecting by fiber name alone.
Fit and fixing: Provide the width, thickness, roll or cut length, and the pipe diameter or joint dimensions. Identify whether the installation uses wrapping, bolts, compression, adhesive positioning or another fixing method.
Adhesive requirements: Do not assume that a backing adhesive has the same temperature rating as the fiber. Confirm whether it is intended for installation positioning or a lasting bond under the specified conditions.
For equipment production, distributor stock or maintenance projects, send the material preference, dimensions, required quantity and operating conditions. Include a drawing or sample reference for non-standard requirements. Available widths, thicknesses, roll lengths, coatings and minimum order quantities depend on the selected product.
